The Baronial Hall is one of the most awe inspiring and romantic venues to hold a wedding in Essex. Set in beautiful Essex countryside with views over the area's premier golf course.

The oak structure of the Hall is a rare specimen in these modern times, rebuilt in 1997 and utilising existing timbers, it dates back to the original erection circa 1600.

The Ryder Room, although a relatively new extension, has been built using the same attention to historical detail and, together with the Baronial Hall is licensed for wedding ceremonies.

This suite of rooms is totally self contained with its own private bar and private car park adjacent.


Full in house catering is provided by Simply Exquisite Limited who pride themselves on their individuality and ability to cater for any type of party. Their menus are tailor made to reflect the character and personality of their wedding couples and the overall "feel" of each wedding.

Simply Exquisite are aware that although a wedding is a once in a lifetime experience, you don't want to spend the rest of your life paying for it! They are conscious of the need to be cost effective and all menus are prepared taking into account individual budgets.
