The oak structure of the hall is a rare specimen in these modern times and was re-built in 1997 utilising existing timbers which date back to the original erection circa 1600.

The Ryder Room, although a relatively new extension, has been built using a similar design giving the same attention to historical detail. Both halls are licensed for Civil Ceremonies . The Suite is totally self contained with its own private bar, car park and gardens.

Fayreways, also licensed for Civil Ceremonies, is perfectly suited for the small intimate wedding up to 50 people. We have full in-house catering and our executive Head Chef, David Sears, is formerly of the Heybridge Hotel in Brentwood . We pride ourselves on being able to cater for any type of party, regardless of the size. Our menus are tailor made and we endeavour to reflect the character and personality of our wedding couples and the overall feel of each wedding.
